With 27 years experience in the catering world, husband and wife team Trevor and Charlotte have a passion for creating delicious, home cooked food.
As a trainee chef at the Bournemouth and Poole College, Trevor went on to complete his apprenticeship at the 4* Highcliff Hotel. Roles as 2nd Chef and then Head Chef soon followed in several busy Town Centre eateries so running a busy kitchen is second nature to him. Trevor particularly enjoys creating the savoury dishes and platters and loves putting on a good BBQ!
Always buzzing with ideas, Charlotte loves getting to know her customers and seeks to add that creative personal touch to each and every special occasion. With baking her speciality, Charlotte loves to try out new recipes on her friends and family members.
As a family run business Trevor and Charlotte's two sons Jack and George are the official Perfect Platter tasters. No recipe is included on the Perfect Platter menu until they have given it the thumbs up! From picnics to hog roasts, afternoons teas to BBQ's, the boys love to help try out new food ideas and even throw in a few of their own. George's ginger tray bake recipe is absolutely delicious!
At Perfect Platter we take an immense pride in our work. All the food we produce is homemade by us in our 5* Food Standards Agency rated premises using best quality, locally sourced, ingredients. Delivered in our own refrigerated vehicles to ensure it reaches you in prime condition and we will advise you on the best way to store and serve the food.
